let me start by saying,

our animals always want to understand us and what we ask of them. They always try their best to make sense of our messages, but we can sometimes be unclear in our communication. Humans are a complex species, and there is often a lot of conflict between our energy, our words & our body language that makes it hard for our pets to interpret our messages. In my live events and during my sessions with clients, I always try to educate people on how they can create the greatest understanding between themselves and their beloved pets.

my 3 pillars of animal communication

Telepathy is your pet's primary form of communication, but just because you aren't fluent in telepathic communication doesn't mean there aren't other tools to enhance your communication with your pet.

Did you know that your animal's body language plays an enormous role in your communication with them?

You have seen many of these subtle body cues already but may not have known they were a significant way your pet communicated with you.

Most pet parents are familiar with their pet's vocal communication, such as barking, growling, or whining. However, a good thing to keep in mind is that when your animal uses their voice, it can be a way to let you know you have missed their body language.

Body Language

Each species and individual animal has their own way of communicating with their body. The point is to discover your animal's way of expressing themselves with their body. The key here is to raise your awareness of how your animal uses their body to communicate with you.

Remember, each animal is an individual and has their own skills, experiences, and unique ways of communicating with their body.

Energy

Energy is an enormous part of animal communication. As humans, we often focus on overt forms of communication, such as spoken word and body language. But animals are feeling beings, who are sensitive to all the energies around them! Therefore, your underlying energetic state will strongly influence how your pet perceives what you are saying to them. I call this your SILENT CONVERSATIONS. These are the conversation between you and your pet that you may not be fully aware of. Becoming aware of these silent conversations will significantly improve understanding between you and your pet.

One way you can improve the silent conversations you are having with your pet is through intellectual grounding. This is the process of detaching from judgment and bias. Grounding yourself intellectually opens you up to experiencing higher frequency communication. Being intellectually grounded allows negative communication patterns to shift and become more constructive and expansive. Why does this matter in animal communication? Because HOW we speak affects our animals. Animals are very sensitive to the energy around them, including the energy of our words.

Meaningful changes in your relationship come when you realize that the energetic messages you send to your pet sometimes contradict the messages you intend to send to them. Observe your pet's response and how they are interacting with you. If they are responding differently than what you asked, take the time to check in with your current energetic state and see if you need to re-align your energy and with your intentions to send them a clearer message.

Telepathy

You have probably already experienced telepathy with animals in your life and didn't realize it, as it wasn't directly in your awareness. The language of telepathy is innate, meaning you were born knowing it. It is the bases of animal communication and connecting with your pet. Telepathy is a sensory-based language where non-verbal information is shared back and forth through sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. This is why improving your ability to connect with your pet telepathically begins by enhancing your awareness of your physical senses.

So, how do you learn telepathy?

I want to begin by stating that you are ALREADY telepathic! The trick isn't to LEARN telepathy; it is to reacquaint yourself with it.

By shifting your mindset to reacquainting yourself with your innate telepathic abilities, you will invite a sense of curiosity and calmness into your practice. The key is to trust that the ability already resides within you so that you can silence your inner critic and release your self-doubt.

There is no one way to do telepathy. Just because you can send and receive information using all of your senses, it doesn't mean that you need to use all of your senses to communicate telepathically. Most people send and receive through their more dominant senses. The dominant sense or combination of senses you communicate through will be unique to you.

is animal communication the same as psychic ability?

There is often confusion between Animal Communication, intuition, psychic ability and mediumship. Animal communication is a language. But unlike a spoken language, it is made up of sensory stimuli rather than words. It is a language expressed and experienced through the senses and communicated through telepathy. On the other hand, intuition is something that comes from within us. It is a gut feeling that can guide you to better understand your pet's needs and wants. Psychic ability is about receiving one-way information and reading the animal and situation with external sources such as spirits, guides, and sometimes even tarot cards to gain information. Lastly, a medium is a psychic who can connect with those who have crossed over and bring messages from loved ones to you. I use all four of these in my Animal Communication practice as they are all ways to connect and gain information and understanding about your pet.

do animal communicators really work?

Yes, they do! It is normal to be skeptical and question their work as it is only now beginning to be more commonly practiced and fit within the confines of our current understanding. However, more research is being done to explore how we telepathically and energetically interact with our animals. Rupert Sheldrake is at the forefront of this research, and a more recent researcher is Dr. MJ Barrett.

When you choose to work with an animal communicator, I believe it is important to ensure they are professionally qualified. I encourage people to ask me questions in the free initial call.

can animal communication change my pet’s behaviour?

First, it is important to understand that an animal’s behaviour ALWAYS makes sense to them. For your pet, there is always a logical reason for why they are doing that behaviour.

Animal communication can help you understand the WHY of your animal's behaviour. You and your animal can work towards a solution with that new understanding. Most animals' behaviour will change when they have been heard and understood, but there is no guarantee their behaviour will change. Animals have free will, some do not want to change, or their person isn't ready or willing to change a situation that influences the animal's behaviour.

Some animals with behavioural issues may need more than one animal communication session and may greatly benefit from energy work.

why is animal communication important?

Animal Communication is important because it allows you and your pet to connect and understand one another's perspectives deeply. Animal Communication invites greater mutual respect and a deeper human and animal bond. Nothing is better than when you both truly understand each other!
