Buddy

“One of the hardest parts about losing Buddy was the lack of true understanding from others in my life. When you lose a pet, people mostly expect you to be sad, they offer up an ‘oh, I’m sorry’ and expect you to get over it and carry on in pretty short order.

Hana gets it though. She was right there with me in my pain and grief. I felt heard and I felt understood. I never felt rushed to move away from my grief in our session. She held the space for me when I hurt the most, and we walked through it together.

Most wonderfully, I was able to visit and revisit my Buddy. His life was a gift worthy of joy and laughter, not sadness or guilt, and Hana helped remind me of that. Well, actually Buddy reminded Hana to remind me of that, and who am I to go against the wishes of that fluffy charmer?”
