who is end & after?
about me and my approach
My work is where animal communication, trauma healing, and grief support meet. I offer guidance to people navigating their beloved pet’s end-of-life journey, before, during, and after loss with deep presence, care, and understanding.
I believe animals are family. And when they leave us, the grief we feel is real, often unspoken, and deeply misunderstood.
My mission is to create a compassionate space where that grief is seen and honoured, not rushed, fixed, or minimized, but recognized as a reflection of profound love.
My approach is grounded in over 30 years of experience in natural health and healing, a degree in psychology, and extensive training in grief education, trauma-informed care, and somatic healing that I bring together.
My work is not only professional, it’s deeply personal. Many layers of loss have shaped my understanding of grief, presence, and connection. I experienced the traumatic deaths of animals I loved in childhood, the sudden loss of a childhood friend, and spent over a decade caregiving for both of my parents through Alzheimer’s and dementia before each of their deaths. I also walked beside my grandmother and a close friend through their end-of-life journeys. Each of these experiences offered a different window into what it means to walk beside a loved one, to love, to lose, and to remain present in the midst of it all.
The grief of losing my own beloved animals evolves with each loss, as each has shaped my life in profound ways. These losses opened me to the unspoken depths of animal-human relationships and the silent grief so many carry.
I know what it’s like to feel grief in the body, to carry exhaustion, confusion, or overwhelm long after the goodbye. These personal experiences allow me to meet others in their grief with gentleness, compassion, and attunement. I’ve come to believe that grief isn’t something we get over; it’s something we grow from and with. And when we create space to be with our grief and pain, we open the door for the love we carry to return in a new and tender way.
Together, these frameworks allow me to gently guide people through the layered physical, emotional, and energetic toll of anticipatory grief, trauma responses, and nervous system dysregulation with compassion, clarity, and care.

I attained my Professional Certification in the Heart Talk Animal Communication Program after three years of intensive training at The Gurney Institute of Animal Communication in Agoura Hills, California. I work with clients globally, offering clarity and connection in the most emotionally charged moments.
grief specialist & more…
My work lives at the intersection of science and soul, where animal communication, trauma healing, and grief support meet.
As of 2021, I am a Certified Grief Specialist & Educator through David Kessler’s Grief Educator Program. I hold a foundational understanding of Internal Family Systems (IFS), which supports my ability to hold space for the many parts of a person’s grief experience. My approach is further rooted in somatic and trauma-informed care.
I have completed my first year of a three-year Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner Training, which offers a deeply embodied, nervous system-based lens for supporting individuals through emotional overwhelm and the physical effects of grief. To complement this, in 2024, I completed four advanced professional certification modules in The Biology of Trauma® with Dr. Aimie Apigian:
Attachment
Grief and Heart-Shock
Healing
Letting Go
Together, these frameworks allow me to gently guide people through the layered physical, emotional, and energetic toll of anticipatory grief, trauma responses, and nervous system dysregulation, with compassion, clarity, and care.
